About Search IT

Search IT is a global business directory that connects people with the businesses they're looking for. Customers use Search IT to find a dentist who is open today, a restaurant's menu and contact number, a plumber who covers their area, or a lawyer they can trust. Businesses use it to be found, to get calls and bookings, and to build a reputation through genuine reviews.

Our story. Search IT started as a free directory and grew to hundreds of businesses across Asia, the Middle East, the UK, the US and Australia. Along the way we learned what customers and business owners actually need: accurate information, real people checking listings, and simple tools that turn a search into a customer. In 2026 we rebuilt Search IT from the ground up as a faster platform with online booking, verified badges, analytics and plans that start at less than a dollar.

What we believe

• Accuracy beats volume. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
• Trust must be earned. Verified badges are given only after we check documents. Reviews come only from signed-in members and are moderated.
• Small businesses deserve big reach. Plans start at $0.99, so any business can get online.
• Speed matters. Our pages are built to load fast on any phone, anywhere.

Who we are. Search IT is operated by Maetheon Ltd, a digital studio and software company registered in England & Wales (company number 17262818), based in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.

Our mission: to help every business get found by the customers who are looking for it. Our vision: to be the most trusted place in the world to find a local business.
